I have 16 years’ experience of being a district councillor since 1979.  Although a life-long Conservative, I have always believed that the interests of the local community should take priority over party politics.  I have lived in Oulton Broad for my entire life, am a self-employed accountant and feel that my financial background enables me to contribute towards the prudent and value-for-money approach adopted by the council as regards the provision of services.

I am the Vice Chair of the Audit and Governance Committee at at East Suffolk Council and the Assistant Cabinet Member for Resourcing.
